with vintage there usually isn't new trends, as it is just vintage.

but if you style it correctly it can fit into today's trends and your everyday wardrobe.

maternity project: week 19 & 20

19 WEEKS

Baby weighs 8 1/2 ounces and is about 6 inches from head to toe.

WEEK 20

baby measures about 10 1/2 ounces and 10 inches from head to heel.

AMAZING how the baby grows so much in one week...no wonder my stomach was so itchy last week.

the banana was actually to short, so we substituted a plantain, which is still in the banana family...

also kind of of proper since the baby is half Cuban ;)

 And we found out the sex this week...

Gone Country

last week, i went out to a small town just north of Houston.

my friend Jennifer's dads house, out in the country. tried to get there before it got too hot, with the temperature being at 90 degrees by 11am, its pretty disgusting out. 

we took a few photos around the property, here are a few of may favorites 

love the one above! reminds me of the virgin suicides for some reason.

maternity project: week 17 & 18

Week 17

The baby is the size of a turnip, he/she is 5 inches long from head to rump.

week 18

baby is the length of a bell pepper measuring 5 1/2 in long.

I love my little bell pepper :)

I'm at 19 weeks this week, and this Friday I will at 20.

We find out the sex next Monday on the 20th, sooo excited!

I am starting to feel baby move more, at first it felt like a little fish swimming and now I can feel the baby moving. No kicks yet, but soon enough I'm sure.
