I really enjoy how these images seem dark, but still have a soft colorful side to them.
Extraordinary use of color and light!

Fashion Advice

We all know of the websites you can go to and show off what your wearing but what about those who need advice on what to wear?
Well there is a website now for exactly that, actually two of them!
I'm sure more, but I heard about these two today.

What I like about these websites are that the sex is not just limited to young females,
but to females of all ages and even males!
From wardrobe to hairstyles.
You get an honest opinion from others just like you trying to figure out if your outfit goes together.
Check them out!

Go Try It On   and   Fashism

All you have to do is upload a picture and you get an answer
or
if you'd like you can just give an opinion, for you fashionistas out there.

Also great for when your shopping alone and you don't have someone else to give you an opinion.
Or for when your home and you still don't trust what your husband says.

P.s. Thanks to my other half for the blog idea.

Fringe Me

I love Fringe!
I recently saw the movie "Cherry Bomb" based on the Runaways
and I totally re-fell in love with 70's fashion.
It's a little bit of rock and roll and fun all at the same time.

But just be sure not to over do it.
One piece of fringe article is allowed, please do not combine all of your fringe pieces together, that's a bit of an overkill and not appealing to the eye.
If you do too much you will like a cowgirl gone wrong.

I'm keeping my eyes peeled for an amazing piece!
But these made it to the top of my list.

Gray Fringe bag found at FlamingJuneVintage

Gold Fringe Earrings found at kiamchi7

Black fringe vest found at TheRubyKitten

Vintage fringe boots found at dressinsolevintage

Brown Fringe top found at ReallyTruly

Blue Coral Necklace found at luckyvintageseattle

I'm reallly digging the black vest, great to wear over a tshirt with some tights or jeans.

Ibiza- Eivissa

Ibiza (Eivissa) is a Spanish island, the third largest of the Baleric Islands...that has become famous for there hippies, sunrise parties, and club Pacha.
The likes of rock star legends such as Jimi Hendrix and Pink Floyd used Ibiza as there muse.
David Bowie makes a reference to the island in his song "Life on Mars".
Ibiza is the place to be, to escape your ever day life.
Very bohemian, very laid back, but you can still find a good party if your looking.
Beach during the day and party at night.

And we'll that's what we did!

We were in Ibiza for 5 nights and 4 days.
We hit 2 parties and 3 beaches on our visit. And ate lots of Tapas!

View from our hotel.

At sunset.

At the top of Aguas Blancas Beach (White Waters)

You could see your feet in the water.

Party Night One...
It was a Masquerade theme!
So I had a black lace mask and my fabulous friend Ivania, did my hair and painted on her awesome mask!
Ivania can work wonders, gotta love her :)
The gold dress I am wearing is vintage...my favorite piece! It's been to Playa del Carmen and Miami.
Not to shabby for a $5.00 vintage find that I paid $10.00 to hem.

Party Night Two...
It was a voo-doo theme..so we just dressed up in whatever.
Ivania is wearing a vintage sequins dress, she sells on Etsy check her store out at GlamorousLifeVintage
I did not have the best luck this night, I fell and twisted my wrist.
So I was handicapped for about 3 days. Ouch!
But my wonderful husband took great care of me.

Just goofing around.

Here is a picture of me drinking tea with my twisted paw, wrapped up.
At least I didn't have to lug around my luggage the next few days! *Thanks Hugo!

Since we did a few parties here, our next stops, Rome and Santorini were very different.
Go, go, go and then some relaxing and then go, go, go again!
Rome was HOT and so so much to see.
Santorini...well that was just amazing!
It's Heaven on earth there and I suggest everyone go there once in there lifetime.

I will have the pictures up of those next week, trust me your jaws will drop once you see Santorini, if you've never heard or seen it before.

Madrid

This was a church outside the Prado Museum which we visited.
But then jet lag kicked in and we had headed back to the hotel for a 3 hour nap.

This was an exhibit about women being sold into sex slavery, it was very eye opening and sad.
On each mannequin's arm there was an age, name, and home country of some woman who had died.
This was located in front of the Botanical Garden's.

So as we were shopping we ran into the Biggest Pride Parade in Europe. It was sooo much fun!
Dancing in the streets, along with some cocktails and some nice Spaniards.

This was a mojito! It's like a soup bowl!
This was the night when Spain won to be in the finals. Pretty exciting just to be around.

The next day I got to meet up with Anna from Passport Glamour.
We chatted over coffee and then took a stroll. What a fascinating life Ms. Anna is living with her boyfriend in Madrid. There time in Madrid is almost up and I wouldn't want to leave it either. I will definitely be keeping in touch with this amazing young lady and wish her all the best always!

Anna and her boyfriend Joe, told us to walk down a bit further to check out the METROPOLIS.
What a fantastic building!

The Mister and I taking a quick photo op, before finding our way back to our hotel.

Spain is wonderful!
Life there can be go go go, but then they have there siestas, tapas, and sangria...so it all evens out.
How nice to have a siesta time, when shops close and you have time to relax.
America should pick this up, maybe we'd look forward to going to work more, just saying! ;)

So just to let you know, my husband only allowed me to pack one carry on suitcase and one extra bag.
WHAT!?!!! I was like there is no way in ... not for 2 weeks!
I don't know how I did it but I did, and I actually didn't wear all the clothes I bought.
Mostly because I was on the beach 75% of the time so it was just swim suits and swim cover ups.
I'm used to packing a huge suitcase and one carry on, but times are changing!
Shoes usually take up most of your suitcase, so I packed 3 sandals and 1 pair of heels. I even had space to buy some heels while I was in Madrid to bring home.
Also as many flights as we took the one carry on is all I really needed.
So I'm can officially say I'm an expert at packing for vacation. Do you usually over pack when going on vacation?

I'm Guilty, so don't judge me....

I LIKE LADY GAGA!
There I admitted it for all to know!
Well at least those who don't know yet.

I know, I know...not everyone likes her. But I do! So don't judge me.
Not everyone is always going to be on the same page as everyone else.
Why do you like her, you ask?
We'll to me, she thinks outside the box, it's always something different.
I've heard the same story from lots of friends, "Well Lady Gaga is just copying Madonna"...but really though isn't everything recycled from time to time, from ideas, to music, to fashion, to house hold items...
So don't judge me, just let me be.

Her concert in Houston is Sunday and I got tickets! And believe me I'm dressing up!
This was my Lady Gaga costume for Halloween for one of the parties I attended and I put this together at the last minute.

All I'm missing is a Tea Cup!

Halloween is my favorite holiday and I love dressing up for theme parties!
I will have some pics up of Madrid and Ibiza tomorrow and we went to a theme party there.

Oh and if you don't like Lady Gaga, I won't judge you.
Even if you say negative things about her, it's OK, that's your opinion and your entitled, as am I. :)

Party first pics later

Humidity hair
tanned husband
missed my girlfriends!

So I got back into Houston this past Friday night and had birthday party to attend on Saturday night.
Talk about jet lag kicking in! I fell asleep after taking a shower, the disco nap that was suppose to be for
20 minutes ended up to be 2 hours. Ooooops!

WET HAIR + DISCO NAP + HOUSTON HUMIDITY= CURLY HAIR CAN'T DO MUCH BUT JUST LEAVE IT ALONE.

And my husband who is Cuban is very light complected, but he came back from vacation looking like a true Cuban. He made me sport my tan by wearing a light color, he said no black clothes, you have a tan show it off. So that's exactly what I did. Believe me, I'm a pale yellow color, so enjoying the color while it lasts.
It took 5 hours to download our pictures from 2 camera's.

So I will be posting some pictures up during this week and next, don't want to overwhelm you all!
