Army Green

Please excuse the shirt-less man in the back, I have no idea who he is...haha! But really I don't.
Oh and the plastic cup is an adult beverage...we'll just pretend it's water.
This past Saturday I went to a day time dance party called Praia Urbana, here in Houston.
My friends have been throwing this party for the past 6 years and each one is bigger then the last.
Fun times! Great for people watching.

So the outfit I wore was pretty simple and military chic.
I thrifted the button up army shirt and the thick brown belt was thrifted as well.
I wore dark denim shorts and gladiator sandals.
Accessorized with a vintage gold and red bracelet.
Big gold earring, that my hair are hiding.
I can recycle this outfit again with some jeans in the fall.
So this next picture is of myself, husband and friends at
Fashion Night Out that the Houston Neiman Marcus was hosting a few weeks ago.
To tell you the truth, I never shop there, but it was Fashion Night Out, so I made the best of it.
I wore an army green dress that I purchased at Forever 21.
Vintage Black Bow kitten heels and a vintage black patten leather purse.
The necklace which you can hardly see was made of up-cycled gold chains and topaz flower brooch.

So as you can see I'm really digging the military chic look!
But I can't wait till it's a bit cooler out...I have some lady like dresses I can't wait to wear.
